Established in 1973.  Appeal for Charities and Goodwill, Incorporated (ACGI) Missions is a Humanitarian based, 501(c)3 registered, Non-Profit Organization providing our communities with nine Outreach Professional Services in Education, Food Pantry, Nutrition, Health Literacy, Social Wellness, Scholarship, Children, Youth, and Family Programs for over 44 years.

ACGI Missions’ Public nine Services Programs were established in 1973 within the Englewood community of Chicago, Illinois by The Missionary P.A. Osei Bonsu Committee’s Appeal for Charities & Goodwill Inc.

Our Mission is to strengthen the quality of lives within the communities we service, by providing nine professional services in Education, Food Pantry, Nutrition, Health Literacy, Social Wellness, Children, Youth, and Family Programs for new and growing families.  Our efforts are towards maintaining and discovering new approaches that strengthens the quality of lives and keep the children, youth, and families safe within Chicago, Illinois – Englewood, Bronzeville, Greater Grand Crossing, Gresham, and Washington Park communities.

Track Record.  Annually our nine programs reached an average of over 300+ families.  Our humanitarian outreach improves the lives of new and growing families by providing the support needed to assist adults in advancing their economic status, such as maintaining employment, career advancement, and achieving higher education.  These positive results are a testimonial to how our organization assists the individual and their communities.   Our philanthropy has raised and contributed over 5 million US dollars into our local economy, funded the construction of 3 children plays lots totaling over $83,000 US dollars, funded the Subsidized Housing’s building infrastructure and improvement totaling over $42,000 US dollars.

Heritage.  We have served thousands of children and families since 1973.  Remarkably, a large number of our graduates become adults that starts their own families.  Many of them have brought their children to our programs.  We are very proud of our success rates and the privilege to professionally service many generations within growing families.
